Planning Board News
A Special Town Meeting was held on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at 6:00 PM to vote on the following:
1. The acceptance of the deed for the Jackson Corner Cemetery from the Jackson Corner Cemetery Association to the Town of Jackson.
2. Amendments to the Jackson Land Use Ordinance, Sections II, IV, VI, and XI, to update and bring into compliance with LD2003:

Land Use Ordinance Section VI - Use Performance Standards
Land Use Ordinance Section XI - Definitions
3. A Short Term Rental Registration Ordinance.

All items passed. These ordinance amendments were presented at a Public Hearing on April 9, 2024.
Visioning Sessions 2025
Session I was held on February 11, and included discussion of Jackson's natural and historical resources.
Session II was held on May 20, and included discussion on Jackson's town economy and infrastructure.
Session III was held on August 12, and included discussion on Land Use in Jackson. This included discussion of both existing and projected development in housing, commercial, industrial, and recreational development.
