The Jackson Town Office is located in the municipal complex next to the fire station at 730 Moosehead Trail in Jackson, Maine. It is situated on Maine Route 7, 3.0 miles north of the Brooks traffic light and 0.3 miles south of the Village Road.

PUBLIC HEARING FOR WINTER ROAD CLOSURE. Tuesday, September 29th at 7:00 PM at the Jackson Town Office. The municipal officers will discuss and gather input regarding roads to be closed for winter maintenance. They are proposing to continue to keep the roads that have been closed for winter maintenance for the last 10 years to be closed for another 10 years.
Designated Roads To Be Closed For WInter Maintenance:
The road leading from the Cates Corner Rd, so called, westerly to the Thorndike town line. Tax Map #1 abutting lots 1, 5, 6.
The road leading from the Cates Corner Rd (Underpass), so called, southerly to the Brooks town line. Tax Map #1 abutting lots 1, 2.
The road leading from the Cates Rd (Cates Cemetery Rd), so called, to Cates Corner, so called. Tax Map #1, abutting lots 2, 3, 4.
The North Rd (Underpass Rd) from Cates Corner Rd northerly to the Thorndike town line. Map #1, abutting lots 4, 5,7, 8-1, 8-2, 9.
The North Long Swamp Rd, so called, from the Dixmont town line extending southerly to the property located Map #10, Lot 26 (Rhodes). Tax Map #10 abutting lots 12, 26, 27.
The West Chase Rd, so called, from Moosehead Trail (Rt 7) to Map #9 Lot 5 (Miller). Tax Map #6 abutting lot 8 and Tax Map 9 abutting lots 4, 5.
The road leading from the former Snow School, Map #8 Lot 3 (Schmidt) westerly to Map 8 Lot 10 (Shue). Tax Map #8 abutting lots 3, 4, 10.
The Common Hill Rd, so called, from the intersection of the Hatch Rd, so called, also referred to as the Dodge Rd, extending northerly to Map #8 Lot 12 (Greeley). Tax Map #8 abutting lots 10, 11, 12, 13.
Tax bills are currently estimated to be mailed out in mid-September.
Jackson transfer station stickers are free for residents, and available at the town office. Please bring your vehicle registration to get one. Stickers must be displayed on your vehicle in order to use the transfer station.
